House Rules & Expectations

These rules exist because they work. Every expectation here comes from hard-won experience — ours and the people who came before us. They're not here to punish. They're here to protect your recovery.

What We Ask of Every Resident

Living at Renewed Reflections means being part of a community. That community only works when everyone holds up their end. These rules apply to all residents equally — including the people who run this house.

01

Sobriety

Zero tolerance for alcohol or illegal drug use on the premises or while representing the house.

Residents must submit to random drug and alcohol testing at any time.

Any prescription medications must be disclosed to house management and stored properly.

If you relapse, you must notify house management immediately. Honesty is the first step back.

02

Accountability & Meetings

Attendance at weekly house meetings is mandatory for all residents.

Residents are strongly encouraged to attend a minimum of 3 outside recovery meetings per week (AA, NA, or equivalent).

Each resident must have an active sponsor and be working a program of recovery (AA, NA, or equivalent). This is not optional — it is a condition of residency.

Residents are expected to be honest with house management and fellow residents at all times.

03

Household Responsibilities

Each resident is responsible for keeping their personal space clean and orderly.

Shared spaces (kitchen, bathrooms, living areas) must be cleaned after use.

Chores are assigned on a rotating basis and must be completed on schedule.

No food in bedrooms. All meals and snacks are to be consumed in designated areas.

04

Curfew & Guests

Curfew is 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 PM Friday and Saturday.

Overnight guests are not permitted without prior written approval from house management.

Daytime guests must be approved in advance and may not be left unattended in the house.

Guests who are actively using substances are not permitted on the property at any time.

05

Employment & Financial

All residents are expected to be actively employed, enrolled in school, or engaged in a structured program within 30 days of move-in.

A $100.00 deposit is required prior to move-in. Weekly rent is $150.00, due each week. A 3-day grace period applies; late fees apply after that.

Residents are responsible for their own personal expenses, transportation, and phone.

Financial hardship situations should be communicated to house management proactively — not after the fact.

06

Respect & Community

Treat every resident, guest, and neighbor with dignity and respect at all times.

No violence, threats, intimidation, or harassment of any kind will be tolerated.

Loud noise, music, or disruptive behavior after 10:00 PM is not permitted.

What is shared in this house stays in this house. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of our community.

Violations & Consequences

We handle violations with honesty and fairness. Minor infractions may result in a warning and a conversation. Serious violations — including any use of substances, violence, or dishonesty — may result in immediate discharge. Our goal is always restoration, not punishment, but the safety of the community comes first.

Questions About the Rules?

We're happy to walk you through anything before you apply. No question is too small — we'd rather you ask than wonder.
